Re: Wheels

Look ridiculous. Far too big, just looks "all wheel" from the side. The Evoque wheels are all quite intricately designed, manufacturers put a lot of thought into what will look best given the car's design. To then put some aftermarket cheapo looking 22s on is criminal. Some will think it's individual but for me it just devalues the car.

Sorry rant over...

To be a complete hypocrite I did just stumble across the Overfinch Olympus 20" wheels on YouTube and they look very nice indeed. Admittedly OF products tailored to RR hence why I think they look so good...

I Actually agree with you. 22" wheels look way to big. 20's are perfect.

RE: Wheels

Everyone has their own tastes.... I think the Overfinch Olympus are hideous and like the Modulare B15 much better. I do agree that the 22" looks a little big, though. The 21"s would probably be ok for a big wheel look on the Evoque but not too many of those exist.

I agree that 21" wheels may look ok still as the Evoque has such large arches. I still find it crazy though to debate the idea of wheels over 20" on a mini SUV that is the length of a golf!

Just looked at some more pics of the Olympus and perhaps don't look as good on the car as the promo vid...

RE: Wheels

For me the 22" wheels look great, it all comes down to personal choice and taste. My Evoque arrives in March and as soon as I take delivery it is straight off to put some new 22" bad boys on it.

I think it has much to do with the design, those where the spoke goes right to the edge of the rim, make the car look overwheeled imo, however a 22" with a bit of a dish, looks much better. However i think standard 20s look pretty good, so keeping mine for now.

Im sort of a person that likes balance....form and function.....a good size to hold u on a turn/design and styling however dont want to take away from the performance aspect.

RE: Wheels

I too think it's too big but wanted to show the design more than the size of the wheel. I did order my wheels on Wednesday but in 20s all around....will take 5 weeks to make. I went with a different design as these look too close to my other wheels.
