We have lift off!

Ok so I couldn't resist the temptation! Saw it briefly in the flesh this morning.

it was up on a ramp in the corner of the workshop. It was filthy!

Reality is starting to sink in. Will be planning to take delivery end of next week. Not long now!

Why not wait till march 1st for a shiney new 12 plate?

Got myself a shiny plate V7 RRE so I didn't have to. Not too bad value for what I paid for it. Seen it on the car already and I must say I'm quite pleased. SWMBO isn't convinced. But she'll come round

Went into the dealers tonight and it's all starting to get a bit cluttered with one or two different model 12 platers stacking up for collection. Well, one of them in the showroom is going to have to make way for mine

Saw my car in the valeting bay. What an incredible difference from the first time I saw it on Saturday! I think I'll be really happy with the colour.

Didn't spend long but the one thing I did check was the tyres! It's on the Contis.

Still has to be fitted with it's roof rails. They haven't come in yet, apparently. So it looks like it'll not be before Thursday that I can contemplate collection.

Could a long week!

Friday's the day! so not long now.

Its hours and counting now!

Went across this afternoon and did part of run through in prep for taking the family with me tomorrow for final collection. It (she/he?) looks pretty damned fine in all its red glory!

Even the service guys commented on how nice it was and how it made a pleasant change to see one that wasn't white!

Have been able to take away the manual and have some more than adequate bed time reading!

Roll on Friday!

Oh yes can someone please point me in the direction of the thread that tells me how to post pics! It'll be my turn tomorrow!

This forum has a lot to answer for!

The first thing I found my self checking when I went in to look at the car today.... How much fuel had they topped it up with!

It's not quite the full tank but at least I won't be there tomorrow at handover having to worry about it and let it spoil the moment!
