Towing electrics - anyone done it themselves?

Simple question : anyone put the towing electric kit in themselves? Looking at the stuff on TOPIx it looks like you need to drop the rear bumper and drill some mounting holes to run the cables. It's also not especially clear where it plugs into the loom.

i mounted the Curt wiring harness and nothing had to be removed. It simply plugged in and worked.
