RE: Towbar - new options

Hello All! This is my first post so please be gentle. I have been searching and waiting for a decent looking towbar for a few months now and it is now time to place an order. Has anybody purchased, received, and installed either the Witter or Bosal towbar? I am very interested to hear anyone's experience before I pull the trigger.
Thanks,
Matt

RE: Towbar - new options

Thanks! I appreciate the effort to document the process. This certainly helps. I am leaning toward a vertically detachable unit but the process and end result should be pretty similar. My hope is that there will be nothing visible when the not attached but the small receiver box visible in your pictures is sooooo much better than the OEM options.
Cheers!

Interesting, but to me European towbars just look wrong on so many levels, just a nob on the end of a shaft Smile

Anyone know if the Bosal with vertical detachment (mentioned in the first post) bar is available yet?
