Time from Placing Order & Paying Deposit to Getting Build/Delivery Dates etc. ?
Apologies if this has been answered somewhere else ...
I placed my order for an Evoque (5-door Prestige in Sumatra Black + panoramic roof + privacy glass) on 21/06/2011 and a £1000 deposit was taken from my credit card on the same day ... but I still haven't had any build / registration date from my dealer despite some pestering. With all the recent publicity I'm a bit worried about slipping down the order list if they've made a mistake somewhere.
How long should it take from me placing the order to getting some build/delivery dates ?
Are they batching things up at dealer level and waiting for the factory to call them ?
Is there a central number I can call to check that my order is in progress ?

You need to check with your dealer and get the computer print out of your order - should have build date on it and full spec.
Prestige, 5 dr, SD4 Auto, Firenze, Lux, Ambience, Adaptive Dynamics, (+other options).
Current cars: Evoque: 1972 Stag: 2008 C4 Grand Picasso x 2: 2004 Defender 110: LDV flatbed (for moving the Stag)
Gone: Aston Martin DB9 , RRS, FFRR x 5, Classic Minis x loads, 1987 Defender 110.
