The wait

Ordered our new car on 10th September (launch-week Saturday) from Lookers in Battersea. An odd day as we went to the Smart(car) festival at Brooklands in our 1995 C-class (3 into a Smart won't go) with a view to looking at a replacement for the C on the way home.

MB were as helpful as a chocolate teapot, and she liked the Cayenne but the wait is very long. I then drove her to Lookers... she'd bought the car before getting in the showroom.

So now we wait: verbally told January, but the order form says 17th Feb. Am a bit disheartened to hear of the long delays some of you are experiencing and have chased Lookers for some clarity!

We (she!) went with the:
5 door Prestige 2.2SD
Ipanema sand with the Tan interior, lux pack, pano roof and privacy glass

Good Luck!! Sound like a Quick Turnaround to be honest with you!! Think yourself lucky, We ordered Three Months before you and will be luck to see it in March!!

Hi I ordered my car in April 2011 and today is the day I pick it up, hurrah

Went to Lookers today and was told they will get it on about 15th March. So I'll get it soon thereafter

They did say that they have orders taken in November on which they cannot get a build slot as yet

I ordered back in June after a couple of delays eventually got a confirmed build date of the 17th Feb, so our BabyRR's will be born the same day ....

I think it must mean Jan 2013 as the post was written on Jan 27th this year :

I have been told that my build date is the 17th too.....so we will all have Evoques born in the same day....
