Smell from Vents

Hi Everyone,

Recently I have been getting an exhaust or slight gasoline smell from inside the car when I start it first thing in the morning (while letting it warm up). It goes away after a couple of minutes.
Also, around the same time the smell started, I was getting a bit of hesitation from the engine while it was warming up or while I was stopped at a light.

Dealer says they could not reproduce the smell or hesitation, but did a fuel line flush as they suspect bad fuel causing the issues. The recommended changing gas stations to see if the issue comes back.

I had someone else suggest that it might seem like the vehicle is running rich on fuel, causing the smell to happen, which may trigger the hesitation as well.

Has anyone had issues with this, and any comments or suggestions on how you resolved it.

Thanks in advance.

RE: Smell from Vents

Pretty sure there's been someone with something similar, might be worth a search for smell on the forums.

Maybe this
