Silver trim on pure?

I was following a three door pure sd4 out of Gaydon last night (in a very nice dark metallic grey colour) and noticed that the rear pillars had a chrome/bright metal applique on them. It was a RHD car and is not the first I have seen in the last couple of days with this trim on driving around here.

On my order printout I have showing an option code 089AG "Meteor Appliques". Is this waht I am seeing? I don't mind them, but was rather expecting them to be dark and there is no reference in the brochure.

Can any of our forum members who work in the factory clarify please?
