Service contract in the US?

Dear Users,
Tried posting it in the North America thread but no inputs..

Any idea if the US would be getting a prepaid 3/5 year service contract ?

Our dealership said they may be getting it soon. Not sure if any of you have been offered already on the evoque-2016

I'm keen to get one on the 2016 Hse dynamic that's arriving Jan 2016.. Every service costs me $500+

Just had my 18mo. service w/oil change (First one I had to pay for) cost $129.00. Why the discrepancy? I've heard that service can cost $500.00, and related that to the Service Rep at my local JLR (local being relative; 60miles away), he laughed and said "Oh no, we aren't charging enough" Also did the latest gearbox update and now smooth as cream.
