Running-in Period
Dear Friends,
I got the delivery of my 5door Fuji Wihte Si4 Pure Tech 2 weeks ago. I am absolutely delighted with the car. What I want to ask you is, is there some things to do during the runnig - in preiod of the car. The dealer did not say anything about this but in general knowladge around here, we do not force the new car too much until 2500-3000km. I mean low revs and not so much full thortle acceleration.
Ther are some people who claim that the new car should be put to its limits first so that you can get the max. performance from the engine later on. They say if you don do this, the performance will be limited.
Any ideas on this will be very much appreciated.
Cheers,
Bugra

RE: Running-in Period
I was advised to take it easy for 500-1000 miles - basically don't kick down (on an auto) or rev it too much. Also always worth bedding in the brakes by avoiding any sudden braking which should be done with any new brake pads.
