Reversing camera

Search shows some previous queries but no answer to what seems to be a common issue because of the poorly sited reversing camera. 2018 HSA 2.0d. There are lots of different cameras for the Evoque but i have discovered the part number is LR118146 6 pins in 2 groups (4 & 2). The earlier cameras are available (6 pin in line) for under £!00 but the one I am after is fitted to Disco Sport, e-pace etc etc and can cost up to £500.

Anyone found a solution, or adapter or has a spare?

I have sourced a replacement camera, fitted it but still not working?

Does the camera have to be calibrated to the car??

Well it appears that the camera on the 2018 Evoque has to be coded to the car, so booked in to an Indie on the 5th Feb. Stealers wanted to charge £150 just for plugging in diagnostic tool with additional cost to do the coding!!
