Real World TD4 MPG

Thought I would post this to ihn order to "crowd source" the actual Extra Urban mpg being obtained by drivers of the "most frugal 4x4 vehicle on the market today" .

LR own Fuel Economy figures for a TD4 Manual are:
(Manufacturer's Estimates): TD4 Manual

Urban mpg (L/100km) 42.2 (6.7)
Extra urban mpg (L/100km) 54.3 (5.2)
Combined mpg (L/100km) 49.6 (5.7)

Cannot really vote as i dont do any really long journeys often, mine is 35 mpg so far but i would say thats more combined than extra urban

Got 39.9 mpg off my last tank (over 462 miles) calculated manually also to check, but was exactly what the computer said.
Gutted as up until about a mile before fill up it was reading 40.1
Thought I was going to break the magic 4-0
Only have 2700 miles on the clock

Had my TD4 for 3 months now and I have had various readings. The best was 48.9 (never saw it again) for a while it was 42 but at the moment it's about 35. I don't do a lot of miles, I haven't fuelled it up in 4 weeks and it's still got over a quarter tank (I live about 2 mile from where I work) on sunny days I leave the car and being a bus driver I get free travel.
