There is no off-road button to push and, unlike conventional active suspension systems, the response is always proportional, not stepped. Regardless of the Evoque’s Terrain Selector position, the technology provides the optimum contact between the tyres and the road surface and the best compromise between response and comfort.


So yes, it looks like always active.

Great article find Blackseries. I like the bit about Porsche using for their engine mounts; no mention of using it for the suspension though

Nice find! This option sounds very promising and tempting... Getting little roll in the corners and having comfortable ride.
