I know we all want cheaper maps, but what I find ridiculous is the age of the maps for the cost. I understand that the maps and related points of interest data get out of date the minute the maps are produced, but at the cost being charged I want the USB maps to be the latest reasonably available.
Garmin can do it and they are using the same map sets from Navteq (HERE). Why not allow people to download the map data to their own USB to install once they've entered their VIN to generate the installation code?
