if it's in sync with the music it may as well be a part of the ambient lighting

I have had the fog lights turn off with the auto headlights, only to run into fog again with only DRLS. MOST ANNOYING!! I had to override the light sensor by turning lights to manual and turning fogs back on again. I wonder if other vehicles keep auto headlights on with rear fogs selected regardless of ambient light. I never noticed my Vogue turning the auto headlights off with fogs selected in brighter light.
