Order confirmed for DECEMBER Production Call

I think he was after the ed model. And from what I understand the ed model first set of builds are this month so he will have his in jan.

Spoke to my dealer on Friday and was told that they had no new allocation since the end of October so I don't have a clue what LR are doing

Dealer said today build starts Dec 9th, but was told to expect car by 23rd, but due to approaching Christmas it could be Jan in worse case. Wait and see I guess, but getting excited.

I placed my order early Nov.. was told build would be in Jan for delievery late March or early April to Melbourne, Australia.

I email my dealer today to see if there was any updates and he said he had some good news... my car is starting to get built in 4 days!
He said should be delivered sometime in Feb.. latest will be early March. That is all the info i have so far...

Anyone know how long it actually takes to build a car?

My spec is: Dynamic SD4, Auto, Pano roof, front sensors, rear camera, privacy glass, 20" style 6, metallic paint

Lucky bugger, not sure how this works June orders from the uk still have no date but Nov orders from Australia have build dates?

Yeah it's cause we don't have as many orders as u. And every region gets allocated a certain number of build slots every build.

We don't have as many orders as the uk does, so we get our cars quicker.

May think that is a bit unfair, we do however pay nearly twice the price for the same car as u guys do in the UK. Sucks to be us... But doesn't at the same time

First of all congrats Very happy to hear of anyone getting an early then expected build and delivery, but because of the parallels on this one,i might need some clarity now....thats the only thing!??:

I am also in Australia,and likewise ordered an Dynamic SD4 Auto, Pano roof etc , only i ordered it nearly 3 months before.
Ordered my Dynamic on the 3rd August, was told build would be in November for delivery late January.
Was told just recently,that mine is now scheduled for an awful 24th December build, with a mid-late February delivery.??:

Yes it does make you wonder how they go about allocating build spots sometimes... you would have thought the people who ordered first would get priority... however i guess maybe depening on your location and how busy your dealer is and how many orders they have.. you could get lucky (or unlucky)...

My dealer in melbourne also said there is now a longer wait for the diesel engines... earliest build spots are April/May if you order now... don't know how true this is... but though i would pass on what i have heard..

We have one main LD dealer here in Perth (Barbagello's), and they also own another smaller one on the outskirts. I ordered mine from the main one,and it's is a busy one,but at the time,i was only the 5th person in Perth to have ordered an Evoque.
