Spare Wheel ??
The reason for posting is cos my Mrs has an Audi A1 - which we've suffered a puncture on way back. At the time we didn't have a spare and the Audi solution is to use a repair kit which doesn't work and actually makes the tyre unreparaible. The AA also said this too. We also had to wait 7 days - yes 7 days for a replacement tyre, totally unacceptable and it cost €285 when it did arrive !!
Plus I got Audi to provide a proper spare - space saver in case.
Well ... its happened again - another puncture - no replacement tyre in stock and I'm fuming. The spare is not for more than getting you home,so the cars off the road again.
Anyway the point behind this post is what happens on the RRE - I have ordered a spare as an 'extra' - but is it a full tyre or just a space saver. Anyone know ? Thanks.
