Replacing halogen bulbs

Going to change the standard halogen bulbs to philips white vision hb3 9005. Although Land rover have fitted resisters under warranty they will only fit standard bulbs. Are they easy to fit yourself or best leaving to my local garage. Appreciate any advice. Cheers.
