Land Rover Not Accepting Coupe Orders?

3 door seems to be being built in lower volumes, so perhaps there has been a break down in communication?

The answer is because the Pure is the "cheaper" version and the Dynamic the "dearest" version so the people who spend the most get the car first.Its the same with most newly released cars.

Anyhow I best get mine in Sept!

I was querying LRX as their comment was reading like it was always the case (irrespective of this new topic). And yes, I knew dynamic in SEP but my pure order was/is due Oct and not Jan2012

Hold on ........ just needed to check the calendar, nope, it's not April the first, so this has just got to be someone with a sick sense of humour, I hope!

Bang for buck. Land Rover want to consolidate what variants they are building for the initial release; pre-orders for 5dr models are ahead of 3dr models (I'd guess).

Not true. Pure production was to be started in September (3d and 5d), but it would require the Pure Tech Pack until December. Pure eD4 is not built before December anyway. At least that's the information in the Belgian / French price lists, let's hope they can stick to that.

@mb8388 - Didn't expect that many responses! - you've just thrown the biggest spanner into the equation yet! We thought things were bad when we all had to have cars painted in hammerite! (now, there's a thought!)
