Mods and warrenty
Quick question, i have a brand new genuine heated steering wheel and I'm going to order a new clock spring.
What impact will this have on my warranty if i fit it my self? Ive had air bags off before and its an easy job, just never had to think about what lr would say before. Its going into extended warranty next month from manufacturers.
Cheers, Steve

RE: Mods and warrenty
If it's standard LR Extended Warranty, I'd expect they would not cover any faults around the non factory fitted Part, but you should ring the Extended Warranty provider directly to check, maybe they will as long as it's Genuine LR parts.
I had a lot of warranty work carried out after fitting my own non LR side steps, but if the side steps caused, say rust on the undertray i'd have accepted that's my problem.
It would be great if you could do some pics and details on the process of changing your wheel over when you do it.
