Watch much!?!?! I think you're very miss informed. You can watch heaps! Besides loading your own content you can YouTube and Vimeo on it. What more do you need? That would keep any toddler entertained for hours.

And watching DVDs and attaching to headrests?

Easily. Use HandBrake and rip all your DVDs onto the iPad. My 64GB has about 30 movies and a couple of TV series on it and it's nowhere near full. Personally I'd rather carry my iPad than 30 DVDs - plus the iPad lets you browse the web, check emails, type documents etc. etc. and it's a lot cheaper than the installed entertainment system.

As for attaching to the headrests, I'm sure there'll be something for that if you really wanted to.

Charlie - iTunes has everything you need! Obviously you don't slot DVDs in, but any films your kids want to watch are right there for download (or rental).

Re attaching to headrests - there may well be third party solutions for this, but, to be honest, you can just hold them, they don't weigh much, especially on a lap.

Not heard of HandBrake, will look that up, cheers.
It would be used for their DVDs that we have to play on repeat so not really movies that get you'd get online.
Holding an iPad on their laps not an option, good idea for older kids. Just want something hassle free that is always in the car, ready to go. It's a huge add on cost but essential for my two. Car journeys now are a nightmare and the reason for buying a LR is so we can get out and about and see some more of the UK

I did ask two separate LR people about paint supply and was informed that the initial build of Dynamic and Prestige will be available in Firenze Red. Happy days if that is in fact the case.

I think you must have been in the show before me. Is the DB9 black?, was parked up when we arrived and was getting a lot of attention!

Even though I haven't ordered the Firenze Red I have to say it looks absolutely fantastic!, I'm not normally a fan of red cars, but I think because it's a darker red it looks a lot classier. A great choice for those that are lucky enough to get one before the paint runs out Smile

Definately! Very Happy

Was expecting it to be rubbish to be honest, but have to say that I was very pleasantly suprised. No boring marketing blah blah, and I really enjoyed the show. Finaly seeing the car in the metal was the iceing on the cake, and it has certainly not put me off!

Only thing I was a little suprised at was that there were no goodies to take away. Thought there would have at least had some different brochures or material of some sort to keep. Even so, well worth the journey, wouldn't have missed it for the world.

How about you?

RE: Just got back from NEC Evoque Live

There were no catalogues etc at the London show because "everyone would want to take one" - isn't that the whole point of the marketing exercise!?!
