To wrap an RRE then you're looking at £1,500 upwards with a reputable company such as http://www.colourmycar.net or http://www.raccoon.co.uk anything less then your asking for trouble. Price is dependant on the type of finish you want (plain colours cheapest, metallics/ pearls more, printed/ carbon is more again) and how far you want to go (door shuts etc)

RE: Jet Matt Black wrap

I really think that the matt wrap is an acquired taste, in the same way as people react to 'marmite/vegimite'.

I've seen a few BMW 3 coupes, with it, it is definitely a head turner.

For me I'm undecided, but won't be going for that look.

Now a contrast roof wrap, that's another story altogether, may go down that route.

I find the black mat in the Evoque absulut cool! The head of the evil ... Wink
Some time ago I had a Triumph Thunderbird which I sprayed matt black - awesome! The Evoque I will sometimes black-matte. Probably with foil. Now I have him at first but once in Barolo Black .....

Interesting that you've done this, its definitely going to be a marmite thing. Some will love, some will hate. Interestingly enough I've heard rumours that a limited edition of the Evoque will be made and painted Matt Black with the Beckhams getting the first one. (Just a rumour though!)

RE: Jet Matt Black wrap

I'm not a fan of Matt Black...but I love Matt Grey (or Frozen Grey as BMW call it...I very nearly bought a Frozen Grey M3 with black wheel just because it looked so good and turned more heads than any other car I have ever driven).

Of course, Satin Black is the new Matt Black.

RE: Jet Matt Black wrap

as you say the 'Frozen' finish is the new matt. It's the latest thing in the 3m wrap range.

Like it !

May be the prestige styling is killing the beauty. Would have been better on Dynamic one. The shine is clashing. I've seen a bunch of X6 in my neighborhood in Matt black, they look very elegant. Agree with dark grey carbon, that's very nice as well.

Enjoy your ride !

Black/Black Dynamic (with missing dynamic button), 4dr and a tailgate, stadium seats with butt warmer, extra large moon roof for kids clustrophobia, velcro surface card board floor mats, factory installed humming accessory and the famous "Wind noise-rattle package".

I dont see the clash. I see a nice black that has some accents in chrome. Since you only see 2 colours it stay nice and calm in appearance. The chrome accentuates the lines an features.
Doing this is a dynamic will make it look bland and featureless in my opinion.
