If i wanted to sell how much would it be worth?

Well after having problems with my neighbours I am considering moving house and using the cash i have tied up in the evoque to fund a move. So what do you recon it would be worth in a private sale? (weripanyoneoff.com recons 25k)

March 2012 td4 manual 5 door in orkney grey, black leather, auto lights/wipers, fogs, spare wheel, towbar and electrics fitted (used for a bike rack and not towing), its done 4500 miles and is absolutely immaculate apart from a tiny scratch on the very bottom of the front bumper which isnt really noticable.

I would have thought perhaps low to mid twenties now they are a little less rare, probably knock 25%-30% off

low twenties? lol so about 8k depreciation in 6 months?

I would have thought 27-28k but was looking for a bit of guidance from someoen in the know.

Oh, obviously not I then! Can't possibly see why you have problems with your neighbours!!

Well for 1 i think we'd all miss you.

But your question really is the acid test. This is meant to be the car which is in short supply and big demand therefore residuals are said to be high.

However, take it to a dealer and they will do their best to offer a derisory fee. A private sale would be best, try Pistonheads to advertise it and gauge price. They have 2 delivery mileage ones for £35k, Autotrader is showing an OG 62 plate for £38k.

So my guess is ask for £30k and see what comes of it.

Perhaps £25k s a bit low, just checked parkers and they reckon £24,995 for 61 plate Pure Td4 five door part ex value

My dealers offer was £27-28k, when I thought about changing mine.

Sorry I really didnt mean to insult you but as in my original post webuyanycar offer 25k (not that i would sell to them) but I has to be worth more in a private sale than that. Even 25k is over 80% of the initial purchase price.

Its just an idea I have floating in my head at the minute, the car is 100% paid for so i dont have to sell. I dont have to move house either but I am becoming increasingly fed up with my neighbours anti social behaviour. I only have a small mortgage at min (about 1.1 times our joint salary) but as a debt adverse person I wouldnt want to up it by too much to move house.

Sorry to hear about your neighbours, it can be incredibly stressful living next to anti social people, my friend had a breakdown from having to listen to his neighbours rowing and fighting every night instead of sleeping!

As for the value... no idea, but if no hurry you can ask what you would sensibly like and see how it goes.

Ed, I asked a similar question a couple of weeks ago of my dealership, Hillendale for a potential trade to a MY13. My Td4 is not much different in original value to yours but slightly different extras spec and with 14k miles, also a Mar12 car and was offered £27,500 so I would expect you could easily get £29,500 privately
