see the car then pay....but you won't get the car same day I wouldn't have thought.

I'll do a bit of both, i.e. do a bank transfer for the majority of the funds but hold back a few thousand that I will pay in cash once I've inspected the car.

For me, mixture of cash, debit card, credit card. Have 5% cashback on two my CCs - so even if I get charged 2% or so - in the money on that - only up to £2k on each card tho!
