RE: How I wished I had this sunroof!

My 20 year old Mercedes-Benz 300CE-24 slide and tilt steel sunroof has never leaked or rattled, and the power operation to this day, is as smoooooooth and quiet as the day it was new. This was German over-engineering at it's best.

I don't think rattles and leaks are a problem these days.... MB, VWs or BMWs won't be hit sellers otherwise....
I love sunroofs as they partly keep:
1.the wind noise from the 'Dumbo'wing mirrors down,
2. traffic noise out,
3. pollution from other cars' exhausts down.

It's always pleasant to see the open sky. The only downside was that the sun used to shine right on my bald patch, which was the case in my old BMW with a large sunroof...Sad

Got mine : Dynamic Fuji White with Lux Pack and black contrast roof.
Optional extras : Privacy glass, Heated steering wheel and TPMS.

My Mazda Sunroof works beautifully after 8 years and no rattles or leaks! Good job though as the Air-Con has leaked all it's gas again Sad Do like being able to open the roof, let out the heat.. get the sun on your face and leave it tilted open in secure locations to avoid a bit of the heat build up during the day.
