Help with Roof Rails

I purchased some aftermarket roof rails for my Evoque but original cross bars. The Land Rover cross bars have locating pins on one of the bars but the aftermarket rails don't have holes to locate into. I intend drilling locating holes into the rails. Does anyone have the original roof rails that could measure where the holes for the bars should be located? Also is it the rear or front rail that locates in place?

RE: Help with Roof Rails

Hi there. Where did you buy the aftermath roof rails from? A good point is to ask them first, but I am not too sure about drilling holes in the rails.

Got mine : Dynamic Fuji White with Lux Pack and black contrast roof.
Optional extras : Privacy glass, Heated steering wheel and TPMS.

RE: Help with Roof Rails

Hi, rails were from Kitt Tuning, they won't know where the locator holes are on the LR type though. Would need to find out from a set of original rails.
