You are absolutely correct and i was wrong, i was doing a little job inside the car and thought i'd have on the TV -a cheeky bit of BBC2 afternoon snooker - it asked me, after only perhaps 10 minutes as you state, 'to continue watching start the engine', so computer said no so to speak .

The modern way eh.....much better than in the 'old' days when you could run cabin lights, play cassettes and without knowing and of course no warning that your battery is weary .
