Greetings from Chicago - Firenze Red / Santorini Black

I have been visiting the babyRR Forum for a few weeks now. Thought it was about time I introduced myself and shared how much I have enjoyed reading your posts and how much I have learned about the vehicle as a result.

Must admit I also find it fascinating to see the differences our vehicles have just for living on different sides of the pond. Regardless of the differences, I think by now we all know the impact their looks make whenever they're driven around the city. I have seen only 3 others in Chicago (a city with over 8 million people), and every time I drive it I encounter people pointing and staring from all directions. When I park, half the time someone approaches me to ask about the vehicle. How is it in Europe? Is it still the same, or less (perhaps due to more Evoques on the road?).

Here are a few pictures of my Firenze Red / Santorini Black Dynamic. These are the only outer mods I'm making to the car (front tinted windows and 20" Black Rims with high performance summer tires). Also installed the DVD in Motion kit from Bell Auto - which works PERFECT.

Hey, a fellow Chicagoian...well I'm in the SW suburbs. Anyway, my build date is this Friday so I still have to wait until early June for delivery. Your Evoque looks great. The tinted front windows and black wheels works well with the red. If you could, PM me with the name of the place that tinted your front two windows, what % you went with, and what they charged you. I am looking for a good window tinter and I also want some idea of price before calling around. Thanks!

Looks nice! what kind of wheels are you sporting? Lionhead is in your area you might want to look him up.

I saw a Firenze with blak roof at the weekend. Best colour combo I have seen so far. The car looks fantastic!

Normally I am no fan of black wheels, but they do look good on your car.
