Dash cam

Hello everyone. Thinking of having a dash cam in my car. Dont want wires etc everywhere so it's going to be hardwired. Do any of you people out there know of a good way to do it. And the best place for it, and any suggestions for a suitable dashcam.

I got dual channel Blackvue cameras fitted at my local Halfords. They did a very good job and I’m very happy with it.
