Protecting the brushed aluminum strips in the center console
Hi all -
i have a new 2013 Dynamic coupe with black strata and brushed aluminum strips alongside the HVAC and gear controls. How can i protect this from dings and scratches without compromising the look? Is there a wrap or protecter sheild i can use? I'm noticing that this area is prone to scratches and dings from passengers by simply fastening the seatbelt or if their legs (jeans , abrasive textures, etc) rub against the brushed aluminum. Any suggestions?

I've just wrapped mine in clear 3M Helicopter tape - bought from ebay but be careful as some sellers are selling what is clearly fake 3M tape.
I got mine from here -> http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251174714936?s...1439.l2649

Im finding that there are dings in the trim from the seatbelt. I had the same problem on my Z4 which looked terrible afer two years of missing the seatbelt anchor every time I tried to put it on.
