RE: Lack of Postcodes on the NAV

Thanks James

I can sort of understand but I would have thought it would give all the options that were available, e.g.
HP2 7XZ
HP22 5GH

Type in HP2, options available include 2 and 7,

Type in 7 and X becomes available (HP27)
or
Type in 2 again and 5 will be available. (HP22)

Seems silly to sometimes need a space, I assume if you always type in a space it will still accept it as otherwise how do you know when to use a space and when not?

I think it's poor software design really. Those of us who have come from Audi vehicles will know that their MMI system had a neat way of quickly filtering post codes correctly but that said the whole navigation system was vastly superior. Maybe LR need a trip to Germany to visit Harman-Becker...and get the job done properly. Have a look at this Youtube video clip...

LR are a long way off where a premium brand should be these days.

I tried adding the space today and it worked thanks Straydox, I guess it explains why I had this occur so frequently over Christmas and now know how to get around it when required, but agree as much as I like the NAV there is some serious room for improvement!

Audi's sat-nav system is no good if you only have the post code, as it brings up a list of streets/roads for you to pick from after you have added the first part of the post code.
