Well if they were to use the diagnostic port to programme a new key, if the port was able to be switched off then . . . Cant say too much on this

i have seen cars with keyless entry also with an aftermarket fitted immobiliser, some use key tags wich have to be in the car for the car to start, even tho you have the main key for the car in your hand the car will not start without this
