Easy remote closing of the rear tailgate \ hatch

Anyone with a 2015 successful with Dougs's rear hatch mod yet? I spent several hours last night and couldn't get it to work. I'll check in with Doug, but was following the instructions exactly (and even tried switching left to right on the red and black connectors all to no avail. Tried repositioning the switch module several times as well, again not able to get it to work. Wondering if there is some difference on the 2015 vs earlier models?

Doug's mod works fine on my MY15 model, no probs.

I'm sue Doug will have an answer for you.

HotLap, when I fitted mine initially (on the first and second presses of the remote) nothing happened. So I went back and squeezed the connectors that Doug supplies closer onto the cars wires, and hey presto! It's worked ever since.
The connectors can appear locked/closed but the metal blade inside them needs just a little bit more pressure on them to make a true connection into the Evoques wiring.

Stadt and RR, thanks for the advice, I did double check the connections and will try that again, it has to be something simple like that and Stadt thanks for confirming it does work on the 2015...any subtle differences in the install between 2015 and the earlier model years?

Oh, and Doug has already initiated contact and is going to assist, he was right on it!

Hotlap, No - there is no differences between the years. 100% sure you'll get it working.

Whoo Hoo!!! Working as advertised, finally got around to re-addressing this install tonight and all working as per Doug's instructions!! GREAT MOD and hopefully RR did this for the 2016 models as everyone else has had this for years!!

I want to be sure and thank Doug as he reached out and was willing to help me with this from day one when I was having issues, he's a stand up guy and will treat you right!! AWESOME MOD!! If you haven't already done this mod...what are you waiting for?

I'm sure I'm sounding like I own stock in Doug's mod...but I used this 4 times just today!! Smiling every time I use it and AGAIN, if you haven't yet done this mod..what are you waiting for??? It's really not difficult at all.
