ECU Reset?

Just checking how to do a ECU Resent in case I need to do so down the road? Wonder if it's the same as the Jaguar which is to disconnect the battery negative for 5 minutes or hard reset on the Jag is to have the negative touch the positive cable for a second while the positive cable is still connected to the battery. Just seeing if it's the same with the Evoque? TIA!
