Do I sell?

Have been offered £27.5k for my Td4 Pure Tech with 13k miles, six months old from the dealer to change for an MY13. Do I take it or sell privately? Or do I keep it?

And what, get exactly the same spec? Maybe if you want to get a higher spec it might be worth it but cars usually loose most money the younger they are, plus you will have that horrible badge on the grill

have no issue with what you call the horrible badge, it is a Land Rover after all.
Besides i could change the grill for less than £100 so no issue.
Having had it for 6 months there are maybe one or two extras I might add that I didn't last time.
The question is whether or not the forum members feel £4.5k for 6 months is about right?
How much would I get for it privately?

Seems quite a loss to me, I recon a private sale would be a good bit more lucrative.

86% retained value for 6 months....private sale probably the way to go. Mind you if you order a replacement now it'll be for march next year anyway

I also thought about changing, dealer offer £28k for my £30.5k pure TD4 8 months old, but decided to keep the one I have. Instead I have bought style 6 20s to put on but will be changing the ugly Range Rover centre caps to the new 13my Land Rover ones.

My dealer can get me an MY13 for January delivery if I order in the next week or so.
It is tempting but need to find out what I can get for it privately.

Yes they changed them back to a silver LR logo on black background for 13MY, personally I prefere them to the RR one.
