Deposit, order, build and delivery

As the first build dates are approaching there have been a lot of discussions about delivery dates, spec changes etc.
There also seems to be a huge difference from dealer to dealer especially regarding the cut off dates for changes.

I have started this thread to try and condense the information that forum members have, and to try and make sense of it (if that's possible!)

So, what information do you have or have been given regarding the various dates :-

Mine is very vague as it is still a long way off, but,

Deposit in: 12th March
Order to dealer: 13th April
Order submitted to factory: September (est)
Build Date: ?
Delivery date: end Dec (est)

And finaly, what have you been told is the latest date for any changes to your spec?

Deposit in:March
Order to dealer:April
Order submitted to factory: September
Build Date: September 23rd
Deliver date: Sept 29th-Oct 7th.

Interesting, very similar dates to myself except for the delivery date which is about 2 months earlier. So if your order isn't being submitted to the factory until September how do you know what the build date is?
Also, have they said when you won't be able to make any changes?

This thread is pretty useless if we don't mention versions, colours, engine types...
I've made a deposit in January and I don't know nothing yet because it's an eD4.

That would be impossible to do, there are just too many variants.
I wanted to keep it simple and just pull together the details from the other threads. That way we can compare what information we have been given by the dealers.
If you don't have any information, then there's obviously no point in posting.

My order and deposit submitted April.
Build date 26/8
Delivery date September ish

Can't make any changes?

I bet if the sum black became unavailable they would be able to change.

Deposit given beginning of April. Told car wouldaerive Approx 26th September. Still getting firenze but as it is getting made later I was given a 13th October date for arrival but I have been told to disregard this as it will be a priority to get delivery late September. Can't wait. Vehicle is a Firenze red dynamic plus SD4 coupe with black panoramic roof and style 7 alloys!

Sorry its being submitted next month they said when they called me on monday.Build date confirmed and delivery week confirmed.I am actually the very first one to get an Evoque from my dealer.Its a Dynamic Coupe Lux Si4 Auto in Fuji with everything bar rear entertainment.

Deposit in: April
Order to dealer: April
Order submitted to factory: June 1st
Build Date: September 15th
Delivery to customer: End of September
Don't wish to make any changes, but I believe I could for a few more weeks.

Firenze Red, SD4, Prestige with all the options (except rear entertainment)

Deposit. October 2010
Order to dealer. April
Order in to factory. June 2nd
Build Date. Sept 16th
Delivery. Oct 20th

All this confirmed in a factory sheet once order submitted.

Dynamic - surprised you've got a build date and delivery date a little over a week apart. Not saying it's incorrect but seems very quick compared to mine. Hopefully will be confirmed for you when your order goes in.

Changes - did add ADs last week and it went down like a lead balloon, as I've now got the kitchen sink on it nothing more to add but heard that LR will not accept late changes and can understand that really.
