Porsche Launch Event: Has anyone attend?

So I received an invitation to the new 991 launch event at the local Porsche dealer tonight as they know I'm interested in the 991 turbo in 2013. Has anyone attended one? Is it a waste of time? I've been to a few mercedes product launch events at the local dealerships and they're ok.

Just seeing if anyone been to a PCar launch event and if it's worth going........
