Had delivery date ed4

Had the call today car has arrived at delears and will be dropped off on Thursday (lease car) been a long and painful wait having ordered in June 2011

Is this the first ed4 or have others had delivery, if so what is thoughts?

I think one or two are on here so far. I saw one at the factory last Friday that had just been built in White.

Could have been mine? Dealers where promised delivery on 5th march

I got mine a week ago, ordered in June
Have yet to post pics, will do soon, loving it though

What do you think of the performance, I am coming from a A5 2.0tdi 177bhp

I came from same engine ! But in octavia VRS
Hasn't got same mid range punch, but low down torque is good. It's better than I thought it would be anyway seems quicker than quoted 0-60
You don't feel like you want to throw it around
I plan on fitting a tuning box after a 1000 miles or so which will help

Had a vrs for few days couple of weeks back new cr diesel one and it was very fast in comparison to the A5 slug...I have had bad experience with tuning boxes and would always updat ecu through the likes of BAS. Mate had a box on his Astra long term and it destroyed his injectors, egr valve, belched black smoke etc

Yes will put some up later.
My experience of boxes has been better had one on VRS and it was savage, only thing it destroyed was tyre !
Remaps are the best but difficult now thanks to Bosch
