Can't wait! Saturday collection

My Evoque is being prepared...SuperGard wotnot etc.

T'was just 2 weeks ago that I was still exclusively very happy with my Discovery 4 and not really serious about changing it. Seeing more Evoque's on the road however prompted an in-depth look and this led to much research - including joining BabyRR - and eventually a test drive.

The test drive itself was an unusual event in itself for me; most of my car's were bought having never driven them beforehand. The Disco 4 was the first exception but only because I had driven my Dad's Disco 3 on safari in South Africa.

But I had to be sure...the Disco 4 is an exceptional vehicle and so very practical for a family. The test drive revealed what I had read in countless reviews - the Evoque is a great compact SUV performer on-road and is more than capable off-road too (certainly for what it is likely to see in my use).

I spent some time contacting various Dealers around the Country and found my car:
Evoque Dynamic Coupe Si4 with Lux pack in Orkney grey with Pursuit interior.

I could probably get it sooner but work prevents this so Saturday it is! A 177 mile drive to collect - gives me some quality time in the car straight away! Very Happy

I've always preferred smaller cars - before the Disco I had a BMW Z4M (I've had two Z4's over the years) and nothing larger than a 3-series BMW. My wife wanted a Mini Cooper S though and I agreed to get the family car so she could get one and the Disco 4 was it. I nearly bought the Freelander 2 - more the size I liked but it didn't feel special enough to me. Now I'm returning to a smaller vehicle that looks to tick all my wish list boxes Cool

Excited? You betcha!

Pictures to follow on Saturday....

Great news. You will not regret it. A disco tried to follow me round a corner at my speed today. I would not have liked the smell in his car as he almost lost it Laughing

Arrived: SD4 Prestige Auto Coupe with Lux pack. Ipanema Sand with Black Panoramic Roof
Ambience Interior with Macassa wood.

Now a Jag XFR Kyanite Blue - wow what power.
At home and superb.

Coolbanana - can you also take some night time shots as well? I've been thinking that maybe Borolo shows its worth under street lighting at night.

Hi Leveller, Evo-King,

I will be taking loads of pictures, no worries about that - my car is Orkney Grey with Pursuit interior though, not black.

Yes, I know it's Orkney, but it makes no difference, I love pics.
