Just ordered new Evoque SE Tech

Thanks for the insight fullfattim. Noticed from my paperwork that the "order created" date was the 17/12/15 so hopefully it's the case I have a build slot.

Mine was ordered through a lease company direct with JLR, I have a friend who's ordered a new SE 2WD through a dealer and has a delivery date within a month. From what I've been told dealers order vehicles with various specs to get a build slot and then they can change the order last minute to suit a buyer. So that's why some people get cars fairly quickly and others it can take 6 months.

I haven't heard anything more from the dealer so just sitting tight. No news is good news in my book. Been scoping out tyre and wheel upgrades in anticipation.
