36psi in front 20"s...hard ride!!

I dunno if it's just me... My 2013 Dynamic on 20" wheels recommend 36/32psi F/R.
Over harsh, sharp edge bumps, it just POUNDS the poor Evoque!
Dropped down to 32psi helps, but it's almost like my front shocks are seized...
Anyone else?
