Automatic Hign Beam Assist Headlamps
As we’re moving towards winter I was wondering if anyone has any experience of this option and if so what are your thoughts?

I have ordered these too and have yet to experience there use on the Evoque. I did however try them on a FFRR SC and they worked a treat.

I was going to add this to my Wife's order, but, refrained in the end as it's as easy to flick a stalk back and forth and it will give her the option on when to switch high beam on/off as opposed to a sensor!

I don't like dazzling oncoming drivers but my priority is to be able to see where I am going, so to have the lights suddenly dip is not good, IMHO.

I wonder if these units are the same as the regular xenon units and if not, if specced will speed up delivery?

RE: Automatic Hign Beam Assist Headlamps
I had it on my RRS and decided not to bother on the RRE. For me, the response was too slow. They did not come on fast enough on country lanes, and went off too slow on A roads and M/ways, dazzling the other drivers before they dipped. It also depended on the tyope of headlight on the other car as to whether they reacted. To other xenons they reacted well and dipped pretty quick, but to halogens, slower and to old cars...well....
so i decided not to bother again until they improve...a lot.

That may be the answer to why some people with xenons have delays and some arent.

I've got it on mine and so far it works a treat. Reacts quickly. There is the option to turn it off too.
