Didn't even realise it was a feature. Just thought it was the seat returning to its neutral position, from the seat memory position when the ignition is switched off.
Last 2013 SD4 Auto, Prestige, Pano, Firenze Red. Loving the USB shuffle.

However I shut down, the seat doesn't lower before I open the door.

Mine only lowers as I open the door.

you can enable/disable it in the dash menu 
Ordered: Fuji Dynamic Lux Coupe / style 7 wheels / Privacy glass / adaptive xenons / something else which I've forgotton.
Should be end of April (was March, then April, then end of May/June).
