Post: RE: Fitting a Dog Guard (VPLVS0220)

Yeah, I gave up on mine and sold it. The guy who bought it happened to be a dab hand at metalworking, so he was pleased as anything to fettle it for himself. Go got a Travall dog guard in the end th...

Post: RE: Newbie on forum - Dog Cage

We have a labrador (and he's a large one) and he had no problem at all sitting in the boot of the Evoque. He's also very happy in the boot of my partner's Fiesta. We don't use cages, we just use Tra...

Look under the bonnet to see if there's anything obvious. This happened to me on my old Range Rover and it turned out to be an airhose that was disconnected. Worth a quick look under the bonnet anyw...

This doesn't sound right for the custom opening level - it's there to prevent the tailgate from rising too far and hitting your garage roof (or whatever the low ceiling is). Rising to the full height...

It's going to be fun converting the entire rail network to electric as well.... And who's paying for this lot?

What Car apparently didn't like it too much. https://www.whatcar.com/land-rover/range...-the-road/ But then again, Tim feels that What Car is biased, so read the review with an open mind.

All of the photos have 15/65 plated cars. Even if the review is for new cars, it seems a bit poor to show photos of older cars. Not that it really matters, the 2nd generation X1 started production i...

You'd have thought that a 5 door Evoque would be a more practical choice.

In pretty much perfect nick. It's an absolute doddle to fit - goes between the seat back and rear pillars and is anchored to the cargo hoops using the vertical struts you can see. £40. I can delive...

You wouldn't need to - these things are covered by the regular servicing program. The only reason you should need to open the bonnet is to top up the washer fluid.

Depends on your budget of course. You'll get a better warranty with Approved Used. Having said that, there's plenty out there in the second hand market. They're generally pretty reliable.

My Evoque wasn't a Dynamic. Even in Sport mode, it moved like a somewhat reluctant donkey and I had to plan overtakes quite far ahead... Could just be me though.

I'd say so. My Macan pulls 500 torques and has a few more horses than 240. I think that 240/500 would make for good motoring in an Evoque or Disco sport and get over than horrid 'struggling to keep ...

Yes, a £700 bill for two 911 rears tends to stick in your memory, and I'd really rather not trash the rims. And I don't want to fork out another 2k+ on larger rims just for the sake of looks...
