Got the car back on time with the work done that they said would be done. All seems fine now. I'm really pleased with the way LandRover dealt with it.

The exhaust smell on my petrol Evoque turned out to be a leaking exhaust joint down the back of the engine. New gasket and bolts were fitted and it cured it.

My previous car was a SLK that had superb handling. I must admit that I find the Evoque more fun to drive. Doesn't make the same growly noise as the SLK though:-)

Problem solved; The technicians at the dealership found a leaking downpipe joint and replaced a gasket and bolts. All better now.
