Ok, for future reference for anyone else wanting to know the answer, the LR jack goes to 413mm. I couldn't find an alternative brand one that elevates that much, so I've spent £52 on a new LR one from...

Post: Off to East Africa - what to do to Evoque?

In 2 months I'm off to East Africa (Kenya) to work as a volunteer doctor for a year (or two), and shipping the Evoque out there. Roads: mix of everything from Chinese-built 6-lane superhighway (compl...

Just wondering what specs a jack needs to be - the "official" one seems to sell for £52 but amazon have a variety of 1-1.5-2 tonne scissor jacks available for much less. The evoque is about 1.7 tonne...

I know various people have posted about Pure>Dynamic conversions, but I can't see anything about how technically difficult or time consuming the front bumper removal and then fitting is. I actuall...

Anyone had any success with making a new boot floor to fit over a full-size spare wheel? What would be good to use? Thanks!

Post: RE: Second Service time already

Mine's due next month; my first local quote was 550ish but a dealer 45 minutes away quoted 429 so local dealer immediately said "the best they could do" was 446. Plus a £20 "bacterial refresh" or some...

I'm possibly taking my Evoque to East Africa next year (Kenya/Tanzania/Zanzibar), for a year or two. Wondering about tyres: General Grabber AT sound good. 255/50 R19 is 107H XL. 235/55 R 19 is "only"...

The cost of an iPad and a good navigation program (or even the free Google or Apple ones) is definitely worth it to avoid the frustrations of the built-in one.

Post: RE: Front lower air deflectors on bumpers

I think the idea is to deflect air away from the rotating tyres to improve mpg/CO2 by a bit. The Dynamic model doesn't have them, probably because the lower front bumper does the deflection anyway.
