Post: Evoque went today

I took delivery of my LR Disco Sport today and hence the Evoque has gone. The reason for change is that we want something a bit larger with more luggage room. We tried a RRS which was excellent but re...

I reckon its time to change the show; its the same old format being being re-hashed every week. Its so scripted as to be unnatural with the three performers just playing to the audience. The bonhommie...

'We Buy Any Car' will give a good base price. That in conjunction with the dealer adverts should give a good basis for pricing. Don't forget the the dealer prices always have something in them for dow...

Sorry, by decent spec I should have qualified myself and added Dynamic. From what I've read HSE Dynamic seems to be considered the optimal specification in order to get the best of the handling and ro...

We're looking to change our Evoque for something larger so have just rented a RRS 4.4 V8 for 11 days for one of our trips to Geneva. Superb vehicle and reasonably economic 30.6 mpg over 1700 miles; 33...

I would also like a bit more space than we've got in the Evoque, initial thoughts and a 2 hour test drive confirmed that it would really suit us. Then the real bummer, a 10 or 11 month waiting list, s...

I have to agree with FullFatTim with regard to Evoque quality over the RR and RRS. I will repeat what I have said before; the Evoque is a £30k car with in some cases loads of extras to take the price ...

To get an absolute base price I have used 'we buy any car' for their on-line valuation. You can then compare this with forecourt prices for similar cars to yours and pitch at a price somewhere in-betw...

Just returned from a 2k trip around France, no issues at all with the tag. I've got it stuck to the windscreen in the hatched area very close to the rear-view miror.

Matt paintwork really doesn't do anything for me, I'm also no fan of large diameter wheels; so my personal observation is that the original colour and wheels win hands-down.

XFullFatTim, You've hit the nail on the head, your Evoque is not a £53k car, it is a £31k car loaded with extras and as said before its quite a good £31k car but a Range Rover it isn't.

I agree with some of the pricing, a specced-up Evoque at £50k plus seems ridiculous to me; but a sensibly specified Pure at around £34/35k doesn't seem bad value.
