I broke the average 40mpg barrier today on an hour long drive through M27/A3 traffic - very happy with that, especially at it's only got 600 miles on the clock. (SD4). fam1x, I would look into that!

I have exactly the same problem, I gave up going in forwards and now just reverse in, using the wing mirrors it is quite easy to line the car up straight and reverse in, using the old tennis ball hang...

Definitely have a spare wheel, for a land rover not to have one just seems wrong. My last three cars had goo, luckily I never had a puncture, if I had, I'd have phoned the breakdown companies straight...
