Passenger window keeps stopping - Ambassador - 16-03-2016 02:44pm
Hi there, all of a sudden, my passenger window only travels about 5cm and then you have to press the button again and repeat every 5cm until you get all the way down or up. Other Windows fine.
Any tips/solutions gratefully received.

Hi, My drivers side is doing exactly the same thing. Feels like a faulty switch - dodgy contact or something.
Going to take it to dealer and get fixed under warranty.

Good job you're under warranty. Mine just has the extended warranty so they quoted me £140ph to figure it out. Ouch.

You can try the learning process Ambassador
Hold the down switch until the window is completely down then keep holding it for longer than 15 seconds, then repeat for the up/closed position.

£140 to just look at it is rich!
I see its been posted a few times on here so looks like it may be a well known issue by now. Hoping its just the switch.
The up operation on my works fine. Its only when lowering the window.

Sorry if this is resurecting an old thread but my Evoque passenger window has just developed this same issue ( moves in small increments )
Was this ever resolved ... what was the fix ?
