In still not clear. I get leds flash Amber in the DRL but when I look at my uk spec hid 2016 lights they have this which is exactly the same as my pre facelift.

It's a traditional bulb with Amber tint around it. Surely the indicator?

Also the wiring at the back is exactly the same.

Those lights will be the same as your pre facelift lights.

My understanding is the DRLs only flash when you have led headlights.

See the difference in your units to yous

Good stuff. This is what I thought originally.

So the MY16+ headlights DRL's will flash amber ONLY when you have LED instead of HID bulbs?
Is that correct?

Because if so, I'll never be able to retrofit LED headlights on my 2014 that has HID. Would require too much pin re-arrangements. So I will not bother to try and purchase LED MY16 headlights. And it is not worth buying MY16 HID headlights if the HID headlights don't have the amber turnsignal as the DRL
